Help medical researching by giving your body away after death

Before going for a willed body program offered by medical centers, one should have all the information about it. To donate body to science is a beautiful act which can help may generations to come. Apart from whole body donation, there are other ways to give something back to the society and human race like tissue donation and organ donation. Medical field is always has shortage of human bodies which are so useful for conducting new researches. Whether or not to donate body to science; this decision should be made after consulting ones family.

Certain conditions or diseases like hepatitis, HIV, tuberculosis, jaundice, obesity and extensive trauma to the body may prevent the body to be accepted by medical centers. Also, if a person has consented for organ donation then he can not go for whole body donation. Even after signing up for willed body program, medical centers reserve the right to reject a body when the actual time comes. There are certain diseases like HIV, hepatitis, tuberculosis, jaundice which can lead to rejection of body. Also, if the body suffered extensive trauma at the time of death or had an amputation, then too, medical centers can refuse to accept a body for donation.
