An Interesting Challenge

I have been trying to get hold of some specialist PCBs lately and it is amazing how hard it has been. I assumed that every PCB manufacturer would be able to make something custom for me, but it seems like that is not the case. I have looked around for quite a while now and am wondering whether I should try and put something together myself, as it might be quicker than trying to find a company that can do it for me. I think that I will ask around at work, as most people there are pretty technically minded and should be able to help and if I get no useful contacts there, then I will give up and try putting something together myself. It should be great fun and a challenge but I just do not really have the time to do it at the moment. I suppose I will learn a lot from it and I will just have to find a way to make the time. I have a friend who is really into this sort of thing and maybe if I rope him in to help me it will speed things up a bit.
